The latest update has disabled a perfectly useful tool. Please fix it ASAP.
The first time I used it it worked really well but now I have a Bluetooth headset and it does not work at all... theres some type of interface not letting the signal get through.. Please fix this.
Why did you remove the Bfx function? Please put it back immediately.
My cardiologist recommended this product. I read the reviews in the APP store and was concerned regarding tech support. The medical reviews of the technology was sound and had a stamp of approval from the FDA. Though I have only used the device for 2 days; I can report that I contacted tech support pre-purchase and found them to be responsive. Not immediate but next day. After purchase, I had what seemed to be interference with my bluetooth vehicle system. I contacted tech support and they responded within 12 hrs or so, I had a follow-up question which received a timely response. The bluetooth issue has not persisted, though I have seen a complaint in the APP, so I am not sure if it was a coincidence or not. All in all, customer support has been good.
Good at detecting a-fib but beware of false normals; e.g. ECG reports Normal ("No abnormalities detected.") even when atrial flutter is clearly present. Recommend "normal reports" be revised to simply: "a-fib not detected"
I sent in a bundle branch block for a $5 analysis by "technician" and it came back minutes later as normal
Update: thanks to the reviewer who let us know this works with the original LiveCor hardware. It should be mentioned in the app description. Ive been hesitant to update.
Love this app and how it makes me feel more empowered when making decisions about my heart health. Kardia arms me with knowledge and history of my heart health and AliveCor made it even easier with the addition of Audio recording during a reading! The addition of some crisper graphics on this version was also a nice touch.
Very easy to use. Good way to check my resting heart rate and catch abnormalities.
The worst app I have had the misfortune to purchase. Does not work, have tried 75 times, same result, "unable to read", "be still", "move to quiet location". Nothing works, waste of money and time.
I’m using Kardia with the original AliveCor ECG monitor hardware, and it works exactly as described. The iPhone or iPad (I’ve used both) has to be within a few inches of the AliveCor monitor in order to work, but other than that limitation I have seen no problems. I’m wondering whether “Mis-hap” actually owns the required AliveCor/Kardia Mobile ECG monitor hardware… or is perhaps expecting the app alone to deliver an ECG? The description clearly states that this app works with the Kardia Mobile device. In addition, “Mis-hap” says they purchased the app and that it’s a waste of money. That makes no sense, as the AliveCor and Kardia software has always been free. In short, I think that one-star review is bogus.
I downloaded the app and bought the sensor pads. These are extremely accurate when used right. In certain positions they dont work so well. I have found the best way is to sit down in a chair, with my arms between my legs. I hold my two middle fingers on the pads, and my little and pointer on the edges of the phone(I also bought thier phone case). This provides a crystal clear ECG, I am able to see everything, including AFib. Looks just as good as any 2 lead Ive seen in the ER. UPDATE: I printed out several strips in pdf form and took them to my cardiologist. This immediately helped him make a diagnosis, I will be having surgery soon. Thanks to all who worked on this app and device.
