Rarley works

I used the app in my cardioligists office, it worked ok. I purchased my own and have been using it for about 3 months. Its very hit or miss if you get a connection for a reading. Support is non available! even though they advertise it is! the web site keeps going in a loop to get try and get support. My advice; dont waste your money,

Had been much better

The app is very unstable at the moment. Previous version was good and reliable. Anyway the tool is great. But the app at the moment is weak. Crashing all the time and full of bugs. Needs a big software improvement to be good again.

Mr

Version 3.2 does not have he Bfx reading now - why?

Better with time

This application and its hardware is most useful and becoming better with time. Patients like it very much

2.2.0 crashes

Updated app attempts to open then crashes immediately on iPhone 6 making this product I paid for useless. Unacceptable.

Crashes immediately

Version 2.2.0 crashed immediately on my iPhone 5 running iOS 6.0.

Crashes immediately

I downloaded the latest update and the app, which worked fine before, crashes immediately. This is SERIOUSLY unacceptable!!

Last update crashes immediately every time ...

making the expensive hardware absolutely useless.

crashes immediately please fix asap

used to work now doesnt at all

Works with iPhone 6+ IOS 8.2

After gluing to case worked fine. But my resting HR is 50-55 which flags the whole reading as abnormal. (App wants 60+, I should be able to set my normal range). I can turn off normal flagging but dont know what else it doesnt flag then. Turn around from low cost scrutiny of trace by a professional reader is fast and reassuring. Great product!!

Wave of the future...very cool.

This is very cool. I have an iPhone 6 and this works very well. My pulse is around 50 at rest and it doesnt cause a problem. The latest software smooths out quickly with very little artifact. This is awesome!

Crashes immediately

Previous versions worked, but the latest version crashes immediately. For $200 I would expect this to have been resolved a long time ago. Unacceptable

So powerful EKG in your hand

First of all I have generation 3 with the iPhone 5s and it work perfectly ever time what a awesome tool you can email or print them and take the, with you when you got it the Dr or for a small fee you can sent it and get it reviewed I used it and I love it you can use it on your pets ! I have mine with me always now checking the whole family and friends and it will instantly tell you if you have AFib it detects its and tells you buy it use it buy the Machint from their website super fast if your in California plus its way cheaper than most websites

Easy 5 stars !!!!!

Excellent buy. It really worths its money.Best buy by far!!!!

Disappointed

The mechanism works fine but dont bother to pay the $12 to have their "board certified cardiologist" interpret results. I could have gotten that much from a machine. And two emails to the company went unanswered.

Bad update?

I have had my alivecor for a little over a year and havent had any problems using it on my iphone5 or my 3rd generation iPad, until the app update. Now it has a hard time picking up my finger contact. And when it does, it says it cant categorize the rhythm when its clearly NSR or afib. I have read EKGs for over 30 years. Its clear to me what it is. Could this be a glitch in the upgrade? I changed the battery and cleaned it off. No change.

Great product

My cardiologist recommended it. He couldnt believe how "clean" the readings were. It allowed me to self-identify symptoms when I was in A-Fib. Easy to use, works great. I am very glad I bought it.

Why do companies ruin good apps?

I never should have upgraded. This version is buggy, and VERY slow. In fact, it performs so badly that I now question if the readings can even be relied upon. I loved the previous version but this one is a complete disappointment. For the features that were added, it definitely sacrificed quality. If there is a way to go back, I would love to. Ugh!

Useability Suffers With This Update

The device works well, but the usability of the app was much better before this latest update. The app designers tried to borrow too much from (bad) web GUI, which makes tasks hidden and not intuitive. Theres an important difference between any old graphical interface versus a visible interface. Biggest pet peeve is if I get a bad read (my dads hands are not steady) I want to cancel and try again. Only option now is to save. Then I have to hunt for the delete. Waste of critical time when dealing with a senior citizen.

Amazing technology!

My cardiologist was very impressed with this product and showed it to his staff. He wants me to track my readings every time I experience my heart palpitations symptoms for two weeks before my follow up with him. I have to admit that it was initially difficult to figure out how to get a readable reading because your hands have to be super steady for it to work right. Eventually I found it easier to lay the electrodes on a flat surface table to prevent movement and help with perfect stability and I put the phone next to the electrodes. Then I put my fingers on top of the electrodes and it works perfectly and is easier to do it this way vs attaching them to the back of the phone. It cost $70 on Amazon. The first reading is analyzed for free, but if you want Alivcors staff to analyze future readings, you can pay $2 or $12 per reading depending on how quickly you want the results. For $2, you get the analysis in 24 hours vs 30 minutes for the $12. That feature is optional and not necessary to use the app unless you want more detailed information/analysis about your reading before seeing your cardiologist. Overall I am very impressed and happy with this product :)
