I’m using Kardia with the original AliveCor ECG monitor hardware, and it works exactly as described. The iPhone or iPad (I’ve used both) has to be within a few inches of the AliveCor monitor in order to work, but other than that limitation I have seen no problems.
I’m wondering whether “Mis-hap” actually owns the required AliveCor/Kardia Mobile ECG monitor hardware… or is perhaps expecting the app alone to deliver an ECG? The description clearly states that this app works with the Kardia Mobile device. In addition, “Mis-hap” says they purchased the app and that it’s a waste of money. That makes no sense, as the AliveCor and Kardia software has always been free. In short, I think that one-star review is bogus.
